She says she spent her entire childhood on her bicycle and doesn’t even remember the first time she used it. She never left the bicycle, but it was 2016 to go beyond the report card gift and she reported that she improved her quality of life by buying a bicycle after her university education. She became acquainted with the Cyclists Transport Platform and integrated the bicycle into her life more and became a volunteer member of BUP.

Now, she reports that she has been going to work for 3 years by bicycle and it takes longer to drive. In addition to cycling with groups, she says that riding alone makes you feel more free.

Even in Istanbul, she expressed her reservations about the use of bicycles and that she felt in the minority. She has been supporting the My Bicycle My City project with the Women on Bicycle Initiative for a while. She says that it feels powerful to share the same passion with women she doesn’t know in cities she’s never been to.

She dreams of meeting more cyclists on the road.
